Tango Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) Hi, After downloading the wrong patch, I downloaded the 1.0.1a RU update (520 Mb) for the Russian disc version and installed it. It appeared to go without problems. When I try to fly in single player, it is telling me it wants activating. If I go back to Version 1.0.0, it works fine, so the activation data appears to still be there. What happened, and how can I fix it? -------- После разгрузки неправильного участка, я загружал 1.0.1a обновление РУТЕНИЯ (520 МБ) для российской версии диска и устанавливал это. Это, казалось, шло без проблем. Когда я пробую лететь в единственном игроке, это говорит мне, что требуется активизировать. The patch was called: DCS-BS_Patch_1.0.1a_RU_Disc.exe http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=2364&scr=products&lang=ru It also clearly states: При установке патча количество использованных активаций игры не изменяется. If you have a Russian 1C DVD disk http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=38154 you have to install DCS-BS_Patch_1.0.1a_RU_Disc.exe Try start any mission and activate with DVD disk. Best regards, Tango. If you have russian DVD you can select to "work with disc" option in the SF window and activation by DVD up to 1 week. Tango Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 I changed the Regional Setting to Russian and rebooted, re-installed and now, for some reason, it is working! I think it can't see the entry in the registry under English. I think I had to do this when I installed it off the DVD, too, but can't remember. Thanks for your help!! Best regards, Tango.
