X-FEED VLV OPEN Warning Lamp

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there a conflict between the X-FEED VLV OPEN Warning Lamp and the switch ?

 

I have noticed that when the switch is in the down position = close

the X-FEED VLV OPEN come on ...

There is no conflict. The X-feed valve is opened when the switch is in the down position.

IMHO it's a way to say its normal postion is up, since you move the switch when your fuel tanks are nearly empty
