I have LockOn 1.1: Flaming Cliffs (with Patch 1.12b) and ModMan 5.0.0.12 installed on my machine.

Can anyone tell me if I could use ModMan in order to replace static screens (pictures/photographs) which we see when we wait for missions to start (i.e. those pictures we see while missions are being loaded)?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You could do it with Modman, yes. (There is a newer, better version of modman available)

You can also manually replace it.

Look in this folder: [LO ROOT FOLDER]\FUI\COMMON

There you see several files. Amongst those files you will see start-mig29.dds, start-f15.dds, etc.

By replacing those you can change the static screens you are talking about.

Unfortunately because ACDSee does not support DDS file format until a few hours ago I had a problem with editing .dds files but I have found very impressive freeware image files viewer/editor which supports DDS file format - XnView (http://www.xnview.com/en/index.html)
