In my opinion this is even a step farther than the in-game manual by heatblur. I agree. Good thing is, this is setting a standard that others will hopefully try to match. Let's just hope they don't end up on the radar (har har) of that weird Mario company that holds a patent on having a game play itself when players fail the C130 start-up too many times 1 "I crash, therefore I am." Elements are in different positions and you have those handy "switch all"-levers, but apart from that - the steps are pretty much the same, aren't they? Well, both are fun to cold start (if you are into switchology). (Though I can start the Hip by heart when you wake me from a drunk stupor, whereas I would need to search everything in the Hind cockpit - but that's a matter of getting used to) Imagine a Hip where all the switches and buttons are in logical locations. Like all the electrical systems being in the same place, the radios being in the same place, auto pilot and stability systems being in the same place etc. That's the Hind.

Dropping 15 steps is par for the course for me. That's how I DCS. Just don't do it when shutting down the Chinook, you'll break the state machine and (queue Tim Curry voice ...): go to SPAAAAACE!
