Civetta_ITA Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Good morning everyone... I'm asking you, who are certainly more experienced than I am. I'm trying to prepare a campaign with my friends set in Syria in 1991, and I'd like to disable the datalinks of the F18s and F16s to make their presence more consistent in the context. Is this possible with ME? PS: I have no experience in LUA scripting. =========== My System: WIN11, 64GB, AMD Ryzen9 7950X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX ===========
dutchili Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Not that i know, but: - remove AWACS / EWR so no data on other objects is available, unless the planes in your group have radar coverage of those units - in the F-16, leave MIDS switch to off (but that also kills the TACAN)
Civetta_ITA Posted September 23 Author Posted September 23 Thanks for the reply @dutchili. I was thinking that maybe I could purposely break the datalink on each aircraft if it were possible to create a fault in their system. Yesterday I checked the F18 page but didn't find anything useful. Today I'll look at the F16 page and try again. =========== My System: WIN11, 64GB, AMD Ryzen9 7950X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX ===========
Solution Civetta_ITA Posted September 24 Author Solution Posted September 24 I've tried to turn off EPLRS on advance option into AWACS and seem it works.. =========== My System: WIN11, 64GB, AMD Ryzen9 7950X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX ===========
