TheBiggerBass Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I would like to set the opacity of Viewports used for MFDs. I would like to set the opacity when defining the Viewports in the monitor setup .lua files stored in DCS World\config\MonitorSetup. Is there any parameter in the Viewport structure defining the opacity? Or is it defined somewhere else? Thanks. System: HP Z2 Tower, Win11 24H2, i9-14900K, 64GB RAM, 8TB SSD (M2) + 18TB HDD (Sata), GeForce RTX4070 TI Super 16GB VRAM, Samsung Odyssey 57" curved monitor (main screen) + BenQ 32" UW3270 (secondary screen), VKB Gunfighter Ultimate MK4 + S-TECS Throttle DCS: All terrains, allmost all modules, most user flyable mods - CA, WWII Assets
TheBiggerBass Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Did I use the wrong term? With 'Opacity' I meant the transparency of the MFD. I would like to set it to approx. 50%. TheBiggerBass Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago No idea ? As the original settings displays MFDs opaque (but unfortunately too small) it has to be possible somehow. Reslox Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago there isn't a native DCS solution to this, the best alternative is to download Reshade an UI-mask to boost gain/contrast/gamma. Check this thread for instructions:
