Taras Posted October 2 Posted October 2 (edited) In MSFS and Xplane you're able to sync up your table on apps such as foreflight or Garmin pilot to see the aircraft and charts like a situational awareness app. If you're a pilot you know what I'm talking about. ATAK is the Android Team (Tactical for military) Awarness Kit. Basically like Garmin pilot and Foreflight but for the military. This app allows you quickly plot friendlies, enemies, preload mission packages from ground forces to follow for scheme of maneuver, reference phase lines etc. It would be cool if someone made a DCS version that can stream DCS imagery, terrain, and share mission packages allowing players to essentially have a detailed F10 map screen on their tablets that they can use like the ATAK app. I know games like Arma have figured out how to integrate their in game version of ATAK. It would be amazing if ED or someone figured out how to do the same except push it to a kneeboard tablet in real like like in MSFS and X plane. For more ATAK info you can youtube it, there's lots of info on the civilian version of the app. Edited October 15 by Taras More info
