captain_kaoss Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I've noticed from the Pilot's seat that switching to DSCG to Radar pre-taxi results in no display. Hopping into the WSO seat the AN/APQ-120 control is still set to 'off'. Manually switching it to 'STBY' enables the DSCG screen. Should Jester still be powering up the AN/APQ-120 during the start up procedure or does this now happen after take off?

Should Jester still be powering up the AN/APQ-120 during the start up procedure or does this now happen after take off?It happens during taxi because putting it into STANDBY will start the heatup, leading to the radar melting if you take your time on ground. 2
