shazam253 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hello Everyone, I've a plain and hopefully simple to replicate issue that when I want to add a sound to the mission, the dialog to select a sound file is not showing up anymore in the mission editor. To replicate: create new mission, add a trigger, add sound to all, try to select a sound -> no dialog. It still works for pictures and script files though. Tried on Caucasus and Cold War German maps, but I don't think it is related to the maps. does anyone else have this issue?
Actium Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Did a quick test (on Windows 10). Newly created, empty mission on Caucasus. Added a ONCE trigger with the SOUND TO ALL action and could open the file chooser dialog:

I deleted the settings.lua in my Save Games\DCS\MissionEditor folder and now its fixed. I guess it tried to open an not existing path anymore or something. =>So, I guess when you run into these problems, reset your settings. I've no idea though, how I got there. I just realized that I used this functions two days ago with the same DCS version ...
