Delta134 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) The damage radius of conventional bombs seem to be greatly exaggerated against scenery objects. Below you'll see a screenshot of the result of a pair of Mk84 and a pair of Mk82. Entire neighborhoods are catching fire with just a single pair. It seems to affect a specific set of objects in the scenery. So either something about the bombs should be changed. Or perhaps an increased damage tolerance for those specific scenery objects. Mossa666 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago They seem to have changed the following in the last update: - Implemented scaling of damage dealt to concrete structures depending on penetration depth. Detonations without penetration, as well as over-penetrating ones, will deal reduced damage. - Reduced blast wave damage falloff intensity for map objects. But now it seems worst to me. Especially when it comes to bridges. Even if you miss a bridge by a couple of 100 meters with a 1000 pound bomb, it gets destroyed. Seems pretty exaggerated imo.
