The log file shows that VR started up. What is it that you're seeing on your end?

Errors from the log:

2025-11-12 20:46:01.727 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Opening audio device "{0.0.0.00000000}.{3639586e-a54b-4100-8038-1540a262cda5}"
2025-11-12 20:46:01.727 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Speaker layout: stereo_2_1 (2.1 Stereo)
2025-11-12 20:46:01.728 ERROR ED_SOUND (Main): Failed to init IAudioClient on device: 0x88890004 (AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_INVALIDATED)
2025-11-12 20:46:01.728 ERROR ED_SOUND (Main): Failed to start SND_Renderer.
2025-11-12 20:46:01.728 ERROR ED_SOUND (Main): can't start renderer

Some additional errors, possibly red-herrings, would need to look into further:

2025-11-12 20:45:59.438 WARNING VISUALIZER (22952): [14:46:00.151][Warning] OpenXR: Failed binding of input profile 'Mixed Reality HP' for '/interaction_profiles/hp/mixed_reality_controller' with error: XR_ERROR_PATH_UNSUPPORTED
2025-11-12 20:45:59.438 WARNING VISUALIZER (22952): [14:46:00.151][Warning] OpenXR: Failed binding of input profile 'META_Quest' for '/interaction_profiles/meta/touch_controller_plus' with error: XR_ERROR_PATH_UNSUPPORTED

Some super easy steps another user posted the other day they use (for the Super but I imagine are the same), what are you doing?

  1. I double click the PP icon on my desktop. Short peek inside the headset just to check that the displays are on.
  2. Double click the DCS icon on my desktop. Then click the Launch icon inside DCS launcher. See DCS starting on the windows screen.
  3. And now I put my Crystal Super headset on.

I see the log shows you're using OpenKneeboard and Quad Views as well. Can you try without both of those to get it right back to basics initially.

Have you made Pimax the default OpenXR runtime? DCS in VR is an OpenXR application now, so you’ll need to do that.

The log file says this has already been done and is being used.

Good shout: I was on my phone and couldn’t read the log.

Also, make sure the OpenXR plugins are in the correct order using either the registry or this really nice tool OpenXR API Layers GUI. It’ll tell you if they are out of order. This caught me out when moving to WIN11 last month
