joy_x not being recognized

the joy_y axis is working fine but the joystick_x axis either doesn't work or sticks at one extreme for good.

i am using a xbox controller with the antimicrox app.

pls help...worked fine for years until this last update.

works fine on all other ww2 warbirds except the bf109k4.
