Crystal Super micro-OLED & Dream Air Prescription Lens Frame 3D Files

Since both the Crystal Super micro-OLED and Dream Air use pancake lenses with Sony micro-OLED panels, glasses cannot be worn inside the headset.
To help, we’re releasing the STP files for the lens frames so users and third parties can 3D print or modify prescription lenses.

Status of the 60G Airlink

Already in the start of this year, the external beta test of the Pimax 60G Airlink for the original Crystal started. While the visual performance has received great praise, there is still a lot of performance to be gained in terms of the stability of the connection for all users. We do not want a product that works for nearly everyone, but for everyone.

From the external beta test we have learned a lot, about user's room environments as well as different PC configurations and the impact these have on stability. We also are aware where these issues occur, in which part of the connection between the PC and headset. Hence, we're still working on improving the 60G Airlink before mass production and shipping, both on the hardware as on the software. This is not a total rehaul, but we want to really ship a fine-tuned product to everyone, not a beta version.

Wireless PCVR is really a hard technological challenge both in image quality and connection stability and we have seen multiple other companies try this before, and we're aiming to provide (what we think) is a much better solution. But for this we unfortunatly still need some more time.

The current ETA for the 60G Airlink shipment is set for next year. Users will get an email confirmation when we're nearing shipping.
