Have crystal super with a 5090 gps and 7800x3d with 64 gb ram. Latest update leaves the upper view showing the hmd mounts and upper visor structure of my helmet. I’m looking for a way to adjust the view. It seems my head is recessed in the helmet. I have attached a snippet of the view and a dcs log as well. I’ve noted that my gpu maxed and is now showing a 100% usage rate, cpu hovered around 35. 
looking to Adjust the view to get rid of the upper helmet. I tried the vertical IPD sliders and it created a concave spyglass look.

Have you tried moving your pilot head position forward? Not sure if this moves the pilot model or just your view but worth a shot.

RCTRL + RSHFT + KP4,2,6,8 = Moves your eyepoint

RCTRL + RSHFT + KP*, KPMinus = Moves your eyepoint fore and aft

RALT + KP0 = Saves your the eyepoint position

KP5 Recenters your view

Make sure you have "User Snap-View Saving" ticked in Options, Misc tab for it to work.

Thanks. I've got the re-center views keybinds on my throttle and it moves the whole view point. To include the helmet piece shown at top of screen.  I need to verify the keystrokes you mention just to be certain.

Could not get the cont alt keyboard combos to do anything in the headset so on weds (next day off) will try to edit .lua for the view and see how it affects the pimax super... I found this to help with adjustments... 

  • Camera Position (Head Movement): When controlling the actual physical position of your virtual head in the cockpit, positive Z usually means moving forward (closer to the Head-Up Display/dashboard), while negative Z means moving backward (closer to the seat headrest).
  • Zoom Level (Field of View): When using the "zoom" function, it changes the camera's Field of View (FoV) rather than physically moving the camera itself. In this context, the axis is often mapped such that a positive value corresponds to a wider FoV (zoomed out) and a negative value to a narrower FoV (zoomed in). The center of the axis is typically the default zoom position.
