The mission brief and mission planner doesn't have any information on the mission at all really and the kneeboard doesn't either, it just provides some maps and radio frequencies which is excellent but what do you want me to do with this information? There doesn't appear to be any clear indication on what I'm actually meant to be doing including where I need to go and what I need to actually achieve. You ask me to assign squadrons to tasks using the communication menu but why? is there any information about the mission somewhere that might explain for what reason I need to assign a squadron to these specific tasks and also what needs to be achieved? Thank you.

Thank you. Hi, Thank you for your message. Have you read the campaign documentation? You can find it behind path DCS/Mods/campaigns/Operation Iron Tide/doc. There are lost of information about different targets, mission types and also one chapter about objectives for the first mission to help you to get started. It doesn't tell you where to send your flights but gives you hints about what could be important. You still have full authority for tactical and strategic decisions.
