Skeleboners Posted Friday at 02:19 AM Posted Friday at 02:19 AM LAIRCM on the C-130 represents a novel new feature in DCS- as far as I'm aware, no other aircraft has any form of directed IR countermeasures. From some quick testing (i.e. jettisoning all flares before flying over some MANPADS guys), it doesn't seem like it has much- if any- effect. Curious if this is just an issue of expectations versus reality, or if this being a new capability for DCS means it may not be working as well as it might.
