PROBLEM FINALLY CURED.

It was the Asus Audio Center which was causing the stuttering during shooting. I uninstalled all the drivers for my Asus Xonar and only let Vista install the system driver after reboot. I did not install the drivers for the Asus Audio Center. Ofcourse I cannot alter my sound card anymore, but that is fine for me because I use it for gaming only and not for music.

Thanks for all the help guys!

I've had this same lousy stuttering problem both in the Russian download version I bought last November, and now in the DVD English version patched to 1.01c. It's very aggravating. I've edited my lua file, expanded my virtual memory, run all graphics on low, repeatedly defragged, killed all unneeded processes, turned down sound acceleration, etc., and it still coughs and stutters. I hope ED fixes this at some point. It's a sim killer.

- Updated your sounds drivers?

- Tried another sound-system?

I suppose I'll need to buy a sound card. Using on board sound at the mo. Can't think of anything else.

Also having stuttering issues. With virtually no tech support

Hey all! :)

My name is Michael. I bought this simulator and I LOVE IT. Except for the constant sound stuttering. The game is almost completely unplayable whatsoever. Every single sound stops my system for up to 1/2 or even a second. By that time I have crashed into the dirt, or have been shot down, and the bullet impacts cause even more tremendous lag. I believe that I am WAYYYY above spec for this program. When I am just flying around with all flight sounds loaded I usually recieve 35-40FPS. Any new sound that is introduced locks up the system momentarily

I have contact tech support and I haven't heard a PEEK in 3 days. Considering the fact that I spent 40 dollars on this program with the expectation that it would function as advertised has me rather annoyed. What annoys me even more however is the total lack of customer support past an email address that still hasn't responded to my inquiry.

I am considering contacting the BBB if this issue isn't resolved. Any customer that purchases a product should be treated as a valued member of that company's client base.

Here are my computer specs as of now:

AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHZ (No overclocking)

6GB DDR RAM

Windows VISTA 32bit

Nvidia GeForce 260 Video Card (1Gig Onboard video Memory) (Latest

drivers)

Creative Labs Rocketfish 7.1 Sound card (Drivers only)
