Celo63 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Thought I'd post this in case others have a similar problem. My friend flies BS with an X52 with latest drivers installed on Vista 64 Ultimate. In windows control panel everything checks out, all centres good and everything functioning normally. In BS control options page, all axis looking good, centres bang on. When trying to trim the KA-50 it pitched up every time he released the trim button and centred the controls. It was as though the autopilot system was seeing a different centre point than the stick was reporting in control panel and in BS options. We re-downloaded and re-installed the drivers and tried again. Same thing. Tried a reboot and then it worked ok. We could trim no problem. Next day he switched on his PC and went for a fly. Trim system pitching up again. He had to re-install the drivers again and reboot his PC to get it working again. What made this confusing was that control panel and BS options both showed nothing wrong and the aircraft flew normally without trimming. It just wouldn't trim. So, if you have this problem, try re-installing the drivers and possibly reboot after as well. Hopefully they will fix this in a newer saitek driver release.
