Need Help

i have recently bought Black Shark and have gone through the install procedure.i set the compatibilty to winxp(default is set at win95).the problem is i can get the sim to start from the multiplayer icon,but i cannot get the sim to come up from the offline icon!i activated online with no problems,nor do i get any error messages.i click multiplayer icon,game comes up.if i click single player icon,nothing happens!i also have updated to 1.0.1 but only the multiplayer shows version 1.0.1.

 

system specs:win xp x64,2.4ghz proc.,1gb ram(2gb on the way)nvidia geforce 8400gs,dx9.0c.

 

again everything runs fine in MP,but won't come up in single player:mad:

btw,the activation process is a bit confusing to say the least!

I hope you're installed BS with admin rights? Where SP link is linked (full path, pls)?

its win xp x64(always have admin rights) as far as start in path? it has --console after.i saw a post earlier about making sure that path had this.now what? after i get home from work,i'm updating the drivers for vid card and updating dx9.0c to current.

Only if you are using an administrator account at all times, which is discouraged for security reasons. Assuming by your post, you are always using an administrator account.

 

I don't think you need to run it in compatibility mode, as the game was made to run on XP/Vista, and compatibility mode will just be redundant and cause problems.
