I sent this email to ED today:

 

 

how are you guys, i purchased FC 1.1 yesterday after about 3 months of daily torture waiting for it, but now i have a problem, whenever i installed your season's package AND tried to play a mission with an overcast sky, the game would crash to the desktop.

Also the biggest problem is that the only way to fix this is by re-installing the game. I was one of the guys that beleived in you in the forums when everybody else was complaining about SF being in the game, so i was ready to buy as soon as FC became available. I'm extremely dissapointed in the fact that you guys said that we could install the game as many times as we wanted and not worry about the number of activations (the famous 40% was the deal right?), well; since purchasing the game i've installed 2 times (both times because of the season's package), and both times i have had to use one of my installs (remember that i BOUGHT the game YESTERDAY). Now i don't know how this happened (and yes i used the automatic AND the manual, which supposedly wasn't going to cost me an activation key, but it did), but I need to know was is going to happen with this situation, I was promised something in exchange for my money, i PAID you guys but i didn't get what you said I was going to get.

I'm not the only one whit this problem, otherguys at the forums have had the same situation happen to them.

Also currently the game is uninstalled from my machine because of graphical glitches that came about a bad install the last time, so here i go again with another activation , that's going to be my third in TWO days.

So, please ED let me know what can i do about this situation and also what's going to happen when i reach my fourth one, do i have to pay you guys again, i don't beleive that would be fair to me since i decided to support you guys by PAYING for your software.

Please help me and the community and clarify this ED, we as a community would like to continue to support you guys, but under these circumstances, we just can't.

Did you try to send a letter to Star Roce Russia (http://www.star-force.ru/)?

 

If you did not, please do so and let us know how they respond.

 

While Flaming Cliffs is ED product, it is the Star Force that provides protection! And all of you who have problems with activation should contact Star Force and ED.
