Help please. I was playing a mission i created myself for training purposes, nothing special, placed a boat and APC, destroyed the boat then used the cannon on the APC, while firing the game froze and had to end-task it.

The crash only happens in your mission, is that what you are saying?

Your PC hardware combination looks okay at first glance, even if the OS is Win7 RC1 it should be okai.

Also quite new ATI driver - should be okai as well.

Also, I can see that it was the "Effects.dll" was involved at the time of the crash. This could be related to sound effects(?).

I've heard someone else complain about crash/stutter when firing guns - but thats been related to either mods or a bad installation of DCS:BS.

Mixing language versions of game and path gone bad - and upgrades that wasnt done over a clean DCS:BS installation (included mods while upgrading).

So for testing I would have done the following;

- Test without sound (disabled Sound Device in Windows) just to see if it's part of the problem.

- Always ensure that you're not using any mods when testing.

- Test other missions to see if my own mission / or if it's my DCS:BS thats affected.

- Reinstalled a new copy, patched it up with fresh downloads to eliminate problems with my previous downloaded patches.
