hi

is this a bug or is it just me? i resently, by chanse, discovered that i lose the ability to trim after i exited the game into windows (for cheking forum, manual, instruktionsvideo, mail -whatever). It works at first but after i return to the game nothing happens when i klick the trim button. I hear the sound but the aircraft is not responding. If i try to press an hold the trim i dont get that "loose" joystick i get otherwise.

i have a logitech force 3D pro

I tested to press the T key aswell but same there. i hear the klick but no reaction, so it cant be my joystick anyway, can it?

i havent checked if hits happens if i first press ESC and then alt+tab or if it only happens if i do it while leavning the aircraft "as is" mid air..

everything else seems to work as it should on the joystick..autohover, designating targets and all that.. its only the trim....

I have done this many times myself - we often find ourselves in need of a manual while flying. Or even reading the forums during long legs, getting a coffee etc ;)

But never seen this problem in specific, no.

Hm but where to start troubleshoot - or figure out where the problem is, ... thats a bit harder.

All I could possibly think of right now is;

- Check for any software that *can* interact with DCS / DirectX / DirectInput, disable it and any other software that you really dont need. You may have to uninstall some types of software to truly get rid of it.

- If you do have another joystick & drivers for it - test with that stick to see if the problem is present.

- Test and fly with keyboard only, you may have to get rid of (disable/unsintall) any profiler software that hooks into DCS to see any results while doing this.

Other ideas are welcome :)
