LTZach Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Alright, I'm new, just got DCS today. I'm getting the hang of basic flight a little bit, but I can't roll that much. I don't know if this is my CH Fighterstick's problem, or if I'm just a noob. I used the axis indicator in flight from rctrl-enter...And when I move my stick a little to the right or left it SOMETIMES registers and I can roll a little bit. But the way it is I'm having a very hard time controling my turns...any advice is appreciated, thanks.
GGTharos Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 You're just a n00b. ;) What's happening is that your autopilot is exerting some authority to maintain attitude. Trim for your turn, then trim again when you're on your new heading. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
LTZach Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 Actually, It wasn't rolling because I had another joystick plugged in..So I unplugged it and flying works perfectly now.
GGTharos Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Then I take it back! Good job on fixing that one up :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
