How do I complete a mission?

New flyer here. About 8 hours into it. I am having trouble finishing missions. The mission score says 100%, I land, exit, and nowhere in the debriefing screen does it say mission accomplished. I go to my logbook and mission still say "0". What am I doing wrong? Also, do you have to have 100% completion to get credit? Thanks for your help.

How much you need depends on the campaign structure.

 

If memory serves, the Deployment campaign will give you a "Mission Success" message when you succeed and then allow you to proceed. The GOW campaign does not have the Mission Success message, but only requires 50% to advance. NOTE: The GOW campaign doesn't really care all that much about you in this regard - it's measuring overall progress, including friendly forces. It is possible to do a good job and still fail since your friends performed like shits. After all, a pilot is just one small cog in a very large machine. However, this should then be reflected in the 100% thingie that you are seeing.

 

Sounds to me like something is broken in your logbook. Are you using Win7 or Vista and have it installed in the Program Files folder? If so, ensure that you give it administrator priviliges.

 

More information on the specifics surrounding your issue would help in being sure.

I am referring to single missions, not campaign missions. Using Windows 7. All else in the logbook updates. Thanks

That sounds like a logbook issue then, probably the players.lua file being broken. I'll see if I can find the fixed one for you.
