Install problem

I am very new to games, I seen this game and wanted to play it but when I installed it it didn't ask for anything that I was told that it would, when it finished installing I had to download and install a patch so I did that and it doesn't load...when I click on it to load it I get a white screen and nothing else. Is this a stand alone or do I need base game that goes with it? Can someone help please?

Could you supply a screenshot of the white screen you get? It sounds like a known issue with some ATI graphics cards and their OpenGL implementation - do you use a Radeon 1900 or 1950? If so, first open CCC and disable Catalyst AI. If this does not work, you probably need to rollback to the older 8.12 driver suite.

Your description of the install procedure and it's results are strange, though. It should run out-of-the-box, and it is stand-alone, and should not tell you that it needs a patch.

Try installing the latest drivers for your video card, that seemed to work for me, i had the same problem.
