HOTAS Cougar Registers, Buttons/Axis Do not

Hello,

 

I have had my HOTAS Cougar for over a year, and just this week it began to stop working. I'm not the most best of the "inside" mechanical sides, so if you guys could help me out as simple as you can, I would appreciate it.

 

I plug it up to the computer, and it registers that the HOTAS Cougar is plugged in. When I go into the Foxy Cougar Analizer, it registers its there, but the axis's nor buttons are working.

 

Any help? I have a large virtual aviation event tomorrow and I am highly in need of assistance.

Never had that specific problem .. did you solve that ?

 

If yes it would be nice if you could write what caused the problem and how did you solved it ?

i think, i had this problem too and fixed it with a reinstallation of the complete cougar software.

 

if you already tried it out, make sure you have no troubble with the throttle connector @ the cougar base.

 

sometimes the screws are not fixed strong enough and this can cause some blocking state for the device.

 

if both hints not working, try to reflash the device itself from the foxy tool and it should run again, if there is no electronical reason.
