sniffer Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 Heya all! Don't know is it setting problem/bug/wrong driver but... - Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit - LO FC 2.0 - Saitek X52 Pro (with original CD drivers and software - can't give now exact versions) - custom profile programmed with Saitek software (*.dat file) - DX 9.0c (Feb 2010) Some of buttons neads some delay to start work. I mean - when I press eg. trimmer button I need to hold (about 1 sec.) and then trimmer works... Better example: Turining on cockpit lights works immediately (just after pressing button w/o any delay) but NAV or landing lights needs that 'delay'. I can see this issue only with few things: those above, changing radar mode (PRF/PPS), and few others... I know that firing weapons are delayed for purpose but the other thigns too? Or I've got a problem? Anybody noticed similar behaviour. Hopefully upgrading Saitek driver/software or changing some settings repair the problem... Thanks in advance! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Mugenjin Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 oh .dat profile Be aware that if you upgrade the SST you'll have to create another profile, since you can't open the old one (new ones end with .pr0). But you really should update the drivers/sst, because I'm not experiencing your problems. PRF or NAV lights just need a simple press. Only releasing weapons button needs to be hold, but that's as you already know intended. 1
sniffer Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Yes, I know that re-programming to new format is necessary with new Saitek stuff. Just was too lazy when *.dat works well ;) Thanks for the info, will try later. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
sniffer Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 OK - rewrited profile from *.dat to *.pr0 and works fine! Thanks Mugenjin for mobilizing me ;) 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
