manne Posted April 2, 2010 Posted April 2, 2010 I was wondering how most flight simmers put their control sticks etc. on their desk, if they are even on the desk? Right now I have my stick on my desk, but my desk is pretty high so the bottom of the controller is near my stomach / chest. This makes it very painful for my arm to play a sim because my hand needs to be way too high. I guess the ideal height would be between your legs (no pun intended), but my chair is too small for that. What do you guys and gals do? Do you put your sticks on a piece of wood which you put on your chair? Or do you built a special chair/desk? Any pics for suggestions? Any help/suggestions appreciated. * I just have a normal desk and a normal office chair.
S77th-konkussion Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 Yeesh... this pic has some dust on it- but gives you the gist. Same desk, computer, and flight equipment. Got rid of that monitor, speakers, old TiR and wife.. So like you asked- here's what another "normal" desk looks like. Runibl Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 This is how my desk looked like flying Open Falcon last time: Same as it is now except, Cabinet is down on the floor to the left, laptop is where the cabinet was, and only use MFDs & MFP with Falcon so far. The Joystick is in a nice position so i can rest my arm on the arm rest on the chair. Runi.
