1 FC2 key for 1 PC?

Hello,

 

My team have been trying out the FC2 download version lately. And we came too a problem. Is it possible with the download or boxed edition too use 1 key for 2 Pc's? Because 1 member in our team want's too make a server so that we can always train and fly with other people.

It's not possible. You aren't the first to ask this question, nor would you be the first to complain when you discover the answer. Since this sim has no dedicated servers, each copy is the entire game -and is therefore only allowed to be installed on one pc. Yes, it does suck. If it's any consolation (and I'm really stretching here!), you are actively being supportive of future developement when you buy another copy, and 30USD isn't really that much for the complexity and time invested by the developers. If it was a big money hog like EA or Ubi, I'd be cross, but at least I feel that ED does actually care, even if they are limited by resources.

Deactivate on the old PC, install on new PC, activate on new PC. ;)

 

If I remember right, you can technically have it installed on two machines at the same time and not be in violation, but you may not use the same license in two places at the same time. So if you set up a server machine that you yourself does not play on, you need another license to play on it the same way you would if you want to play it against a family member over LAN.
