Not at all. It only hinders the number of how many times you can reinstall after a major hardware/OS change ^^

But an explanatory mail to ED when you're out of activations (which should take a while) shouldn't be any problem at all I suppose.

EULA 3.1d:

"[you shall not] sell, rent, lease, sub-license, distribute, loan [...] or otherwise transfer the Program, or any copies of the Program, without the express prior written consent of TFC"

However:

9.1 does state:

"You may permanently transfer all of your rights under this License to the recipient, provided that the recipient agrees to the terms of this License and you remove the Program from your computer."

So basically, you want to be certain that the guy whose license is being transferred to you has indeed ceased use of the program, since it is obviously not permitted to have two users using the same license.

sweet thanks for the clarification. fair EULA. I'm still not a fan of copy protections though. I finally installed MS Flight sim x on my computer 2 years after buying it brand new. Installed it only one time. mobo and graphics card blew at the same time. got a loaner mobo while my MObo was being repaired and bought a new graphics card. and already it's saying I exceeded the limit on installs. and 3 days later now I still can't get a damned person on the phone to let me get a limit extension. I hope black shark's support is better. I actualy think im going to buy the game new (reading reviews make it sound like a good quality game, we need more flight sims like this, they seem to be a dying breed..)

And I hope they make an Apache version.
