strange system - we had ruggbutt making some comment how this new F4AF would have the Falcon simhaterbois starting up, I wasn't sure what that meant so asked and I get reputation points removed?

looks more to be a 'LOMAC fan clique' rating than anything useful.

Yeah, it's a big conspiracy. The "Besmirchment Effect" is now in place.

I have been hard at work w/the RI points and the besmirchment factor. Expect to see negative numbers soon.

Ok Conspiracy Carl ;)

I can't figure out any reason why a moderator would deduct points from someone because he asked why someone else started bitching about a group of people from another sim?

*shrug*

Just seems stupid to me.

Are you sure it was a moderator? I thought almost everybody could influence rep points.

Mine only shows the option to approve to a post. No option to dissapprove.

I clicked on your scales, Buzz. Where's my nickel?

I can see that I can ADD to someone's influence, but no ability to deduct.

Maybe there's a secret group of hooded LOMAC Ninjaboys who have the power to deduct ;)

If you really clicked, then it's something else than clicking on it. My points stayed the same. Are we sure this isn't post count related?

It appears to be post count related and can be added to by positive responses. I really did click your scales, but I didn't add to your rep. You didn't say to add to your rep, you just said click. Where's my nickel?

Arrgh, now that would make life difficult . . . . we might see him when they start introducing helicopters.

I can foresee the long-running debates on the sexuality of various SAMs and MANPADS already . . . .

Anyway - according to this upstanding young gentleman, "the more punks I smoke, my rep gets bigger".

See, I didn't even know that NWA frequented internet forums . . . . .

Can any of the Moderators or Adminstrators explain this Reputation feature in detail?

There is a conspiracy theory brewing on another forum that the Moderators are adjusting the Rep points so that only "Pro-Lomac" people are getting points and that some people have actually had their points reduced by the Moderators. I don't happen to believe in this foolish theory, but I thought I'd ask as there is a beer being wagered.

Frankly, as I stated above, this Rep point feature is totally useless and serves no productive purpose on the forum. What was the rationale for enabling this silly feature?

I've noticed that some of the Mods and Administrators have the Rep feature turned off. How does a user disable this feature? I'd like mine to be disabled, please.
