mission status

is there a way to check the status of your mission or objectives because i ve played the 1st 2 missions and i received a medal on the 2nd mission.so how do you know when a miision is a success.

One of the keys left of your enter key. (Which one depends on which language your keyboard is.) Above the shift.

 

You know if a mission is successful either through the mission telling you it's successful (a "Mission Success!" thing pops up). This only happens if it is specifically made to do so in the mission editor. For the Georgian Oil War campaign you will not get that one - the mission score is not just about you, it's about your whole side, so here you'll judge if you are successful or not by simply asking yourself "did I fullfill my objectives?". If yes, head home. If no, see about fixing that. In that campaign, the score can still end up low if your friends failed dramatically - doesn't matter if you did good in your mission if your general is still forced to order a retreat.

Sorry for possible necroing here, but can someone clarify, if Death Valley has such a "mission successful" Message? I seem to have killed all the enemies in the city and some more APCs outside of it, I let my Wingman fly some Reconnaissance over the whole area, without results, yet the mission refuses to finally give me that message ive been waiting for :) So do I have to land in order to make it work, did i miss some hidden enemies or is there even a pop up in that mission?

EDIT: There is indeed no Mission Success in Death Valley, Ive opened the mission in the Editor and there are no triggers for that.
