How to set up internet server at home?

Can I just use my spare pc to set up a FC2 internet server like one would do with COD? Does it require another purchase of the software to run the server?

If you want to run two instances at the same time, then yes, you do need two licenses. You can technically install on multiple machines, but your license only permits use of one at a time. As an example, I do have my DCS:BS license "active" on two computers, due to the fact that the first computer died in spectacular fasion and I have been unable to deactivate there. If that machine were still alive and I wanted to use it as a server, I would need to obtain another license for use on one of the machines.
