The language..

hello,

I got the "Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2" from friend,but the problem its the language, its in russian!

That is a patch or something like that ,that can change the language to english?

Yes, you can rename the file "LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\l10n\ru" in "LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\l10n\ru1"

try, if you rename this file (ru in ru1), you've got all the game in english.

If it's the same as Blackshark, you'll get at least menus, editor and such in English. Mission descriptions, encyclopedia, etc... will still be in russian. But that's a giant leap already ;)

yes it's the same as Balck Shark, but you can try to recover the English missions FC2 then put them in the Russian version of FC2, it will work very well.

OK thank I understood,but what is the location of the "LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\l10n\ru" file?

 

And I need to do that after or before the installation?

it is located inside the installation directory of the game, on the C: drive for example, then searches the following folders and subfolders --> LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2---> l10n---> and rename => ru into ru1

 

of course, to do after installation is complete ;)
