The new Dam Busters movie......CGI heavy, politically correct, etc.

The new Dam Busters movie should be in production this year, but personally I hope the project gets canned. The original 1950s version was fine.

Changing the dog's name for being "politically correct" is sooo historically acurate, isn't it? :doh:

 

They could just make a poll among aviation fans and veterans and ask who thinks calling the dog Nigger (as it was called) is offensive and a threat to the balance of The Force.

 

Who gives a sh-- for the dog's name when you have badass giant 4-engined bombers doing ultra-low level runs blowing the crap out of the Germans?

Interestingly, the 'N' word seems to have found a new meaning in 2010 as it is now used by kids in place of 'buddy' or 'pal', so perhaps Gibson's dog will be referred to by his original name.

 

But if Peter jackson really wants to make a WWII movie why can't he just find a new, less well known, subject such as Operation Jericho to do his CGI on.
