Trying to drive faster than 1000mph in a car with a eurofighter engine which gives 9 tons of thrust and a rocket engine that gives out 12 tons of thrust.

 

And on top of that, the wheels are under a 50 THOUSAND G load, yea you heard right, 50 THOUSAND G.

 

I fear we have another Donald Campbell on our hands, even though Wing Commander Green already drove Thrust SSC a few years back, but this attempt is pushing it too far if you ask me and, No way would you get me into one of them, things with wheels that drive along the ground just arent meant to be driven as fast as 1100MPH.

 

I have the utmost respect for him, but he has a uber scary job when it comes to driving the thing.
