ERROR CODE 2 WHILE INSTALLING DCS BLACK SHARK

ok so i bought dcs blackshark i finally got the files to download get halfway through installing and error code 2 pops up i think i have the two files that i downloaded in the same directory im confused what should i do ??

Why post about Black Shark in the Lock On forum???

 

I guess a mod will move it here at some point.

 

Error code 2 normally means that one of the files is missing; what do you mean "you think" they're in the same directory?

 

You should also verify the file sizes. You can get the exact size by right-clicking on the file and selecting Properties.

 

My copy of setup.exe is 1404206710 bytes;

while data1.cab is 940989803 bytes.

 

Although these are from December 2008 so they might have integrated a patch or two by now... the download site will probably give their sizes.
