Tangolima600 Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Hey, I'm researching a custom build desktop replacement notebook. I'm debating if I should go with an Intel Corei7 mobile or desktop CPU. My intended purpose with my DTR is gaming (Sims mostly such as BS, FSX, and WH). I will be getting an Nvidia 480M video card so most other games will run smoothly. Since sims will need a lot of CPU horsepower, I need some professional input on which path is worth taking. Thanks!
Krebs20 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Desktop. Im at work now. I'll post a reason when I get home. If I remember. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
zakobi Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 usual desktop cpus are more powerfull compared to laptops due to (AFAIK) their smaller size. BTW, how are you gonna build your own laptop?
