Drexal Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Just like to say hello to every body here...... Just installed FC2 and I can't believe how much better it is than the original Lock On. Anyway,i'm having a bit of a problem with my triple screen setup. As you can see in the pictures, the horizon on mymy left and right screen are not aligning with the centre screen correctly. The horizon on the left & right screen seems to dive off in to the bottom corner of the monitor. The resolution : 6068 x 1080 Aspec Ratio : 5.6185185185185 Not sure why it has chosen this aspect ratio,I did try to select an aspect ration of 16:9,but it messed the screens up. Any idea whats wrong,or what i'm doing wrong ? Thanks..... More discussion: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=173991 I don't have this setup myself by the way; this was just some quick picks from a google on 'eyefinity fisheye' [ i7 2600k 4.6GHz :: 16GB Mushkin Blackline LV :: EVGA GTX 1080ti 11GB ] [ TM Warthog / Saitek Rudder :: Oculus Rift :: Obutto cockpit :: Acer HN274H 27" 120Hz :: 3D Vision Ready ]
Drexal Posted August 28, 2010 Author Posted August 28, 2010 Thing is,I have been running an Eyefinity setup for a while now,but most of the game i have been playing have been mainly FPS. But the Fisheye effect in these games doesn't bother me in the slightest.... The thing is,when i'm playing FC2,it always look like i'm trying to fly up a mountain. I don't think this is the same thing as the fisheye effect, maybe its something to do with the FOV ? topdog Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Yes, fisheye is probably the wrong term (but I suspected it'd be the most common term used to quickly describe it) and FOV probably has a part to play in it. Although it mostly concerns another product (softTH) than eyefinity, it may still give you some inspiration for some settings to tweak from this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51648 [ i7 2600k 4.6GHz :: 16GB Mushkin Blackline LV :: EVGA GTX 1080ti 11GB ] [ TM Warthog / Saitek Rudder :: Oculus Rift :: Obutto cockpit :: Acer HN274H 27" 120Hz :: 3D Vision Ready ]
