FAQ Scenario Nevada, could help me?

* That extension will have on stage?

* Cities or towns that we see?

* Rivers and lakes that we see?

* The stage will have a shooting range?

* We will see people on stage?

* Understand that there is near Area 51, this will be simulated in this scenario?

* I know there are Red Flag, with the A10C is permitted to make such events, using this scenario?

* I can edit missions I stage?

* If the stage travels to the sea can naval missions?

* We will have the opportunity to fly in the Grand Canyon?

* We see the city of "Las Vegas" as is now taking off to the south west of the Nellis base? ... Me explain see hotels in the streets and parks of this city famous?

* The scenario has improved or put option addons to give more details?

* Other DCS simulation series also have the option to have this stage or is exclusive to American aircraft and helicopters in the future sell or DCS?

* This scenario, and even the Black Sea provide navigational aids such as lights PAPI, airways, VOR, ADF and NDB?.

In previous editions of Lock On and DCS were not taken into account. I personally have a set of PAPI lights approach is very important, it helps me to approach safely.

So I wonder whether such aid is included in this scenario?

 

Me are other questions but hope colleagues will help me to formulate them.

Since the Nevada terrain is still in development, these are the only ones I can give an answer to:

 

1) Yes, you can edit missions to be set in the nevada terrain.

2) As an extention of the above - you can have a "Red Flag" scenario if you or someone else designs such a scenario in the mission editor.

3) The idea of the terrain is to cover the Nellis weapons range. Training missions will be placed here. (Adds immersion, since it would be strange for a US pilot to undergo basic weapon deployment training in the Black Sea... :P )

 

However, to add to this one:

* The scenario has improved or put option addons to give more details?

 

The terrain development tools have been released for some time, so I imagine you would be able to use them to edit the Nevada terrain for your own mods or additions. There are users currently active in developing maps of Manchuria, Spain, Hungary, Afghanistan and probably several others that I have forgotten.

 

I myself have not tried to use said tools though, so I cannot vouch for the ability to edit released terrains. I would place a guess that it is there, but don't take my word for it. There might be reasons to limit this ability to avoid arguments caused by someone taking, f.ex, the Manchuria terrain, editing it slightly, and then re-releasing it with no credit given to the original author. But again - I don't know for sure.
