Tim Burton Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I bought the disk and manual (Shipping was painful). I went to User Files->Log In. I logged in. I went to the files and DLed the sim, but where is my registration code? I checked the email and didn't see it. Do I have to wait for it to be shipped? Why not like Battlefront that allows both?
EtherealN Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 I'm not sure I understand your question, so just to double-check: 1) You bought the DVD version of FC2? 2) You downloaded the simulator. (It's on the disc, no need to download.) 3) You're not finding a license key on the site. That all correct? If so, check your Quick Start manual, I believe the back of it, from within the DVD case. Disc purchase delivers the license key with the Disc. Battlefront use to do that (don't know if they still do, been a while since I bought a game from them), where you could buy the CD, but they'd also send you a code to play instantly. I guess I'll have to wait. :(

Look for it, install the game, provide the serial number and start flying. :) :pilotfly:

I also hope they get A-10C on Steam.
EtherealN Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 FC2 is not possible to distribute on steam due to legal reasons. (Ubisoft owns LOMAC in the west, there is nothing ED can do about it.) A10C will be released for as digital download through ED and TFC first. Don't need Steam for that. Digitalcombatsimulator.com. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
