My specs Dual Core 1.8 ghz each 9500gt Nvidia 1 GB 1gb of RAM Windows XP SP2 Perhaps my computer is a loser much to run with Lock on with Gys F-15 model at 32 bit.. because I don't recall having crashes like these when i'm still using the Walmis F-15... == Error report 10/5/2010 17:24 V512091930 Dispatcher: track version = 512091930 Dispatcher: initial random seed = 824703 Dispatcher: apply random seed = 824703 Cosmos: Mission date assigned - Year:2005, Month:1, Day:1 DXDefTexture: failed to load samara-red.bmp, D3DXERR_INVALIDDATA. Bearitall Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 (edited) Hey is this right My specs Dual Core 1.8 ghz each 9500gt Nvidia 1 GB 1gb of RAM Windows XP SP2 It could be your ram...you only have 1gb you should have at least 4gb ram...and this will be a bigger problem for you if you choose to buy FC2...you need more ram... My system is: Quad Core 8gb Nvidia GTX 8800 768mb onboard ram 4gb ram Windows XP SP2 Edited October 5, 2010 by Bearitall www.virtualtuskegeeairmen.com
pauldy Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 I'm having doubts that this is caused by RAM deficiency. Way back then, I was playing flaming cliffs 1.12b with only 512mb of RAM.. much slower than most but pretty playable.. I rarely have CTDs.. If it does, it only occurs when i'm playing too long. Also it says the "msvcrt.dll" causes the problem.... This string of crashes just occurred recently.. when i began using the newer F-15 model... perhaps that model somehow screws up how the game runs or something? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jpm1 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 if you use a better 3D model you'll need more ressources i think it is the prob . 1 gb ram is the limit . you can find memory for cheap and your gaming experience will be drastically improved . i gave 2 gigas for free ddr few weeks ago .. SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
pauldy Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 During daytime missions however, there are no CTDs at all... The funny thing about this crash is that, it only seems to occur during night missions... Well, since most of you people are in FC2 now.. I guess I should just assume I'm on my own now, trying to figure out this problem..... As for the RAM upgrade, My wallet is not yet prepared for it.. but I know 2 Gig is indeed mandatory.. for FC2 that is.. not for FC1... but I guess the newer model is involved... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
jpm1 Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 try optimization -update video driver/.NET framework -defrag -CCleaner once -suppress unuseful stuff startup services SU-25 missions [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Yea, could be the newer model of the F-15, also is the F-15 model for LoMAC 1.12b or for FC2...if its for FC2 then thats the problem...double check what version of LoMAC it is designed for.... www.virtualtuskegeeairmen.com

Your wrong again...its not worth playing if you are gonna go as far as 2gig ram...FC2 is at least gonna use most of 4gig ram...if you only use 2gig ram for FC2 and go multi-player you will lag out everyone...system will be too slow and not worth the trouble...:music_whistling: www.virtualtuskegeeairmen.com
