smangs Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I am really interested in DCS: A-10C Warthog and I already own Black Shark, which runs fine on my computer. However, now I saw that A-10C will require a minimum of 512MB graphics memory but my Apple iMac only has a ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256MB. Has anyone tried running it with a 256MB card? I don't care about running it at full visuals as long as it's running smooth with lower settings. Thanks, smangs
slug88 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I'm running with the following system, and am getting very poor framerates (5-25fps) at even the lowest settings: Windows 7 64 E6750 @ 3.2GhZ 4gb ram Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb So I'd say it doesn't look too good for your system at the moment. However, this is a very early and unoptimized beta build, so nothing can be said with certainty. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
fatchance Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I loaded it on my work laptop 128mb video cause I'm away from home. I just wanted to look around the cockpit and flip some switches. The game opens but thats it. The most success I had was getting into the mission editor once. I cant wait to get home and load it on the main rig.
