256MB Graphics card

I am really interested in DCS: A-10C Warthog and I already own Black Shark, which runs fine on my computer.

 

However, now I saw that A-10C will require a minimum of 512MB graphics memory but my Apple iMac only has a ATI Radeon HD 4670 with 256MB. Has anyone tried running it with a 256MB card? I don't care about running it at full visuals as long as it's running smooth with lower settings.

I'm running with the following system, and am getting very poor framerates (5-25fps) at even the lowest settings:

 

Windows 7 64

E6750 @ 3.2GhZ

4gb ram

Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb

 

So I'd say it doesn't look too good for your system at the moment. However, this is a very early and unoptimized beta build, so nothing can be said with certainty.

I loaded it on my work laptop 128mb video cause I'm away from home. I just wanted to look around the cockpit and flip some switches. The game opens but thats it. The most success I had was getting into the mission editor once.

 

I cant wait to get home and load it on the main rig.
