imadude10 Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I pre-ordered the game which gave me access to the beta, but I was told I would also get access to the beta forum. Every time I click the link it says I don't have permission to view that forum. And All the multiplayer games are passworded, but I assume I could find those passwords in the beta forum. Any help in getting me access to the beta forum would be appreciated. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong. :)
nomdeplume Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 I haven't seen anyone posting passwords for MP games in the beta forum, so I think you're just seeing private games they don't want outsiders dropping in on. Most people probably don't have the resources to run a public server. Plus, the beta is somewhat unstable and fairly easy to crash, which is a bit annoying in SP, but probably very annoying for MP. So, limiting it to people you know and can rely on to follow whatever rules seem to help stability makes sense. For the forum, you need to activate your access via the DCS website. Just log in there and go to the 'payments' page and you should have a link to activate your access. If not, then you need to make sure the email address for your forum account is the same as the email address for your account at the DCS site. You can check the DCS site email address on the 'profile' button there; and the forums email address under 'User CP' -> Edit your details.
