A-10c Technical Issues

I just purchased Dcs A-10c yesterday...keep getting denied access to the beta forums despite being told in an email that i have access and my normal dcs login (which i used to purchase the game) will work.

 

I am running a E8500 Intel CPU, Asus P5Q Pro, 4870x2 and 4 gig of ram - monitors are 2 x 3008wfp 30" Dell's (run native at 2560 x 1600).

 

This game is obviously very well built and from taking off and crashing almost straight away I can tell is going to provide me with a lot of enjoyment...:smilewink:

 

There are just a couple of problems...how do I get my second screen set up as a MFD or even getting it working in some fashion as a second screen? When i try to do it in options it only has "3 screens" or a bunch of other options that when I tried simply fit a whole range of displays into one screen..making for a very messed up view to say the least!

 

Also this game sucks my rig pretty hard at 2560 x 1600 so I want to turn the resolution down to 1920 x 1200 (my monitors come with scaling hardware that makes 1920 x 1200 look almost as good as 2560 x 1600)

 

When I try and change the resolution to anything other than native however the game simply crashes...might be some kind of conflict with my hardware set up and the game as I can do this fine on every single other game I have? Any Ideas?

1. You should have an access beta forums link at the bottom of the page you downloaded the beta from.

 

2. Muli-monitor support is still a WIP.

 

3. Make sure game res and desktop res are the same? Try full screen and windowed mode?

Well I didn't notice any way to access the Beta Forums as I was too busy downloading the game.

 

Should be a simple way to access the Beta forums for those of us who bought the Sim already.

Nixer, you need to log back into the main DCS site where you pre-purchased the sim, then click on the download link. You'll then see a clickable "bar" that says click for beta access verification or something along those lines. After you click it, you will have access to the beta forums.
