draggon Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Gents, I think I have found a bug here. When I map my throttle to Joy Z my throttle does not work. Instead my range knob operates my throttle instead. I have gone at this from every angle I can think of unless someone smarter has an idea? When I assign the axis and move the throttle it selects Joy Z properly but in the Sim it will not work, instead my range knob activates my throttle. I have done the following: Completely recalibrated my throttle Moved from a USB 3 to a USB 2 port Manually selected Joy Z Tried fine tuning, when throttle slide goes forward the sim does indicate slider movement Tried mapping to several slider axis or throttle up/down For some strange reason it just wants to go through my range knob? Help? Thanks, Draggon
Animal Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Draggon, I know this does not help but I have a TM Cougar and the Joy Z axis works perfectly in DCS A-10C Warthog. Just knowing someone else has it working could be of help. In Foxy check the Joystick analyzer to be sure the axis is mapped ok. Must be a mapping problem for the range knob to be functioning as the Joy z axis. Hope this helps, Tom
draggon Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 Thanks Tom, I will ckeck it in Foxy and make sure it is correct. Thanks for a baseline information to compare against. I will let you know if it works, also someone suggested saving my setup as a profile too. I will let you know, thanks Buddy! Tim
Wartski Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Joy-Z axis works perfectly in DCS A-10C Warthog with my Cougar. Don't forget to tune all axis. W7 x64, i7 965, Rampage II Extreme, GTX480, 6GB Corsair 1866 cl7
reaper7 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Having the same issue, Throttle (Both) is controlled by the Range Axis instead of the Z axis. Also A-10 keeps rolling to the right even though stick is centered. Axis setup is correct and calibrated correctly, but issue remains. Did you get this sorted Draggon, and if so what was your solution?
