Spoodge Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) Has anyone had the issue with this? When I have wingmen in a mission, and land at a FARP, I rearm, and refuel, and then shut my engines down. The wingmen all land and do the same. Now I start my engines, and notice that only a nano second of sound plays when the radio sounds of the tower, wingmen, ground crew and Betty should be heard. The text still appears in the upper left corner of the screen, but no more radio sound. I can continue the mission, giving my wingmen orders, and everything works right except the lack of comms audio, ONLY after FARP stop. Any ideas anyone? Edited December 2, 2010 by Spoodge
Spoodge Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 Update! I've found that when I disable "Radio Assists" in the gameplay menue, I no longer have the problem. Also, however, with "Radio Assists" disabled, you don't have the missle markers either..lol. What the markers have to do with "Radio Assists" I don't know. I've found a work around for that too. Enable "labels" in the gameplay menue, and when entering a mission, push Lshift + F-6, and the incoming, (and outgoing for that matter), missiles will have text labels on them. At that point, the audio problem is solved, and missiles are labeled. The only difference is that there will be no "Betty" calling out the missiles, and the direction they are coming from. I can live with that! :)
