Hello all,

I'm in love with the ka50 and flirting alot with A10c-Beta ;)

My Problem:

When I create Missions, I cannot set the speed to 0 for a Ramp- or Runnway Take-Off. Anymore!

It worked before but what ever I do, it flips back to 250.

For Player and for AI.

Even a reinstall of DCSW didn't solve the problem.

Shall I install beta patch3?

The only thing I did was adding TackIR5 to my equipment...

Has anyone else seen this or even solved it?

Any hint is welcome.

You should generally run the latest beta version, since that's what most people will be using and all kinds of things might be different between them. If you're not, probably try to remember to mention it when you post since most people will probably assume you're on the latest.

The speed set for the 1st waypoint doesn't matter, so don't worry about it. ;) Only speed for wp 2 and beyond matters, since aircraft fly at a speed on their way to the wp, and they're never 'on their way to' wp 1: they're already there!

There is a bug at least with the first beta, in that you can't properly set a ramp/runway takeoff if you only have one waypoint. It will look like it worked but when you run the mission you'll start airborne, very low.

To work around it, make sure you have at least one other waypoint before setting the 'start from ramp' or runway for the waypoint type. If you've already set the type, you can just change it to anything else, then change it back.

You can tell it's working properly if you set 'start from ramp' because you'll gain a parking slot dropdown selector field in the waypoint properties, which you can use to select where the aircraft starts from.
