hassata Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I know this has been touched upon, but I just wanted to get some more feedback. The WH is amazingly responsive, accurate, and precise. But is that realistic in a plane such as the A10C? Would it be more realistic to add about a 10 deadzone and a 30 curve? Can't imagine the real thing (other than perhaps a FBW F22) being that 'slaved' to the stick. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
karinaadri Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 So you're saying the build quality is better/tactile control better or? Also, isn't the Warthog dedicated to one aircraft type? oracle certifications/oracle certifications/comptia certifications/ibm certifications
RogueRunner Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 It's modelled after one aircraft type, same as every TM HOTAS before it, but usable in flying your trike in FSX as well of course. With the price of ammunition these days do not expect a warning shot.
hassata Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 The WH hall sensors and stick movement are so precise that I feel they may have to be 'dampened out' to replicate the hydraulic assisted 'stick-and-rudder' feel of the A10C. Note that I am talking completely out of school here. Also, this is a good thing lol. The stick is 'perfect,' and we have the option to make it 'less so' should we find that desirable. That's a lot of 'air-quotes' for one post :D. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
