AFAC sortie: Harmonising FAC, HUD targeting and TGP

Using Nixer's excellent AFAC training mission, I made this track showing how I refine targeting by three quick designations: (i) in the TAD on the datalink symbol supplied by the AFAC, at which point I slave all sensors to that location (ii) through the HUD on the smoke provided by the AFAC as target location update, re-slaving on that and finally (iii) using the AFAC's information re. updated target location relative to the smoke, obtaining a point lock on the moving convoy via the TGP. The fact that a TGP point-locked target stays ground-stabilised, even after the a/c has come off the target is a massive advantage if another attack run is attempted.
